PROJECTS

Student Sponsorship

Without a doubt our biggest, fastest growing project has been our student sponsorship program. While we're still new to it, we're working out the kinks and making it bigger and better and helping more kids ! Student sponsorships start at just $125 for an entire school year. Details on request!

Specific needs for this are: Book Bags, College-ruled Paper, Colored Construction Paper, Colored Pencils, Crayons, Erasers, Glue Sticks, Handheld Pencil Sharpeners, Markers, Pencils, Pens, Rulers, Solar Calculators, and Dictionaries.

Tutor Center

Work was finished on the new building that will house the Tutor Center and Pre-school activities!

We could really use some fold up tables and chairs for students and for teams using the building for training sessions.

We could also use a team experienced in tile setting that wouldn't mind doing some tile floors rather than the rough concrete we currently have.

AND an intern! We would LOVE to talk to persons interested in serving as interns at our facility. Email me for more details

2

Feeding Center

We have been working with Mrs. Sanchez, the principal at the local school were we sponsor students on building a new Feeding Center at the school for kids who cannot afford school lunches and who live too far to go home for lunch like the local kids do.

We have a team coming to help with construction but could use another team to help finish it! Also, we will need to find willing teams to help fund food for the new program!

3

School Facilities

The local school has several small projects that need attention and we have been happy to have teams help build new facilities.

There are still buildings to be finished and the grounds could use some work to better facilitate the kids and with an emphasis on safety!

New walls have been put up on the new classrooms and we will need teams to complete the roof and wiring and finish work!

5

Sewing Center

Our friend runs a  local sewing ministry and is always in need of teams to come help teach women to sew.

New, used or refurbished sewing machines would be much appreciated too if anyone has the desire to help in such a way!

We have had some great teams come be a part of this and we have more lined up! If you love sewing and want to teach local women let's talk !
